Zombieland

You're getting a sneak peak of what I did today, which is a shoot with Wonderful Cornelia! It was sooo much fun, and we laughed like crazy women at times! And sometimes it was even epic.

I'm not gonna say anything more about the actual shoot and what my ideas are. Those I'm gonna reveal later. And I might add, the picture displayed above is only a sneak peak, it's not finished.

But now, it's time for me to pack. Going back to Gamleby tomorrow, where I'm just gonna finish up and then I'll be back in Nyköping in no time. That is in like, less than a week or something.

Right now I am preparing for the fashion shoot I'm gonna do tomorrow. I think it's gonna be great, I really feel enthusiastic about it!

Bea

It's been SOOO long without an update, I'm sorry for that. However, not much of what I've done is yet finished. For example this one, that I did quite a long time ago, actually... And of course, it is not finished. Haha. So this is why I decided to take a print screen of it.

Anyway. This past week I've spent in Nyköping, which is also where I'm gonna spend most part of the summer. (Except for when I'm out travelling of course. For example I'm going back to Scotland for a week. Gonna be awesome! )

And now we have the last assignment for school to deal with, and it is fashion!

Aphrodite

This is for an exhibition i Kalmar, and the theme was "belief, hope and love". Of course, it is free to interpret the picture however you want. But my thought was to frame Aphrodite. She derived from the water, and is at the same time the goddess of love. So thereby she's spreading "an energy field of love" and this is why she has hearts on her arms. (You might not be able to see this unless you click on the pics to enlarge them). It is thought only the upper picture which is displayed in the exhibition, the lower one is only a "clarification" or whatever.

Fire & Water

Seriously, this has taken a lot of time! This is the result of a couple of really hard working days.

As I mentioned earlier, we had a "beauty assignment" and this is what I made of it. Water and fire. There are like lots of other stuff I got that has not yet been shown, but they will in time (as soon as I'm finished with them..) haha.

Tribute to Ms V

Gosh, if it wouldn't have been for Victoria, some of my shoots would have been pretty much impossible to do. She is indeed a very good assistant!

Ps. Before I used to do all of the shoots all by myself... But really, it helpes to have an assistant. Big time!

Beauty

Yesterday I did the beauty assignment. This is not a pic I'm gonna use, but anyway. It's gonna be some long hours in school before the other ones are finished. And this one doesn't show the make-up at all, but that is kinda the point.

This weekend I was in Stockholm, first to see the photographer Carl-Johan Paulin where I'm gonna be for a couple of months of my internship, and then to stay with my lovely friend Cajsa. The weekend's just been so awsome!! There are no words for it!

Ps. Today I booked my ticket for my trip back to Scotland this summer. Fantastic!

Testing, testing! Today I did a photo shoot with Beata, it was great! She's such a great model. However, here I am only testing the light, while she's texting :)

Ps. It's such wonderful weather, so now I am going out walking bare feet in the woods.

Second Hand Project

Yesterday I finished the pictures to the second hand project we've been doing for school. In those pictures I got clothes from "Wear it Retro" in Nyköping as well as "Cinas mix second hand och maskerad" in Nyköping as well. So thank you for helping me!

Also lots of thanks to the model, Sara. She did a great job!

There are gonna be 2 more pictures in the project, but I'm gonna upload those later.

However, today's been the most pointless day in "like" my entire existence. Still feeling the time difference from the states and Canada. So when the alarm went off at 11am this morning I still felt so drowsy, that I shut it off and woke up at 2pm instead. That is crazy, even for me!

Ps. But I secretly think it is kinda nice to be able to sleep until 2pm... But I'm NOT gonna make that a habit!

Canada, Montreal was awsome! I became a squirrel photographer (Canadian squirrels look slightly different from Swedish ones) and we entered the "fancy" neighborhood. The sign kinda proves it...

Montreal I

Montreal is amazing! I was a bit surprised when I got here and the majority of the populations speaks french. Well sure, I knew that this is the french speaking part of Canada, but still. Always a bit funny when someone is coming up to you and trying to pitch something to you in french, and you don't understand anything at all. Haha. And that happens a lot!

Anyway, of course this picture is taken by me. I took it tonight, in Old Port in Montreal. It is so lovely.

Sunshine! Sunshine! Sunshine! Weekend's been wonderful. But this I might tell you about later.

Trial of me

This picture is not even close to being finished. So far I've just put on two curves and nothing else. I will show the finished one later. However, I wanted to show what I've been doing today. I went to the studio and took those self portraits. (And no... I'm not naked) And I also want to try different make-ups in myself. I think it is so much fun to do make-up and come up with new stuff to do all the time!

But now I gotta go, since I'm going to a barbecue party tonight. So I need to get everything finished!

Ps. An advise is to NOT look like that while you're walking the public streets. People are looking at you... Really.

The Predator

I got a feeling that the future is gonna be awesome! Got so much in store. But I should start with getting out of bed and do something useful with my day. Dunno if I want to though... Cause I had the most amazing dream tonight. I dreamt I was shopping in New York and found lots and lots of just amazing stuff! Haha.

Ps. Malin is "The Predator". Great, love it! She looks like some kinda creature about to set off for a hunt or something. Exactly what I wanted!

The beginning

Sorry for not updating for such a long time. I've been so incredibly busy doing like a million things. At least it seems that way. This is a project which I did last week, and now I just got back to "the village" to do the editing. I got tons of things to edit, school projects and privet projects. So I guess I'm gonna be pretty busy for a couple of days. Hopefully I will find some time to do some more photographing this week, but we'll see.

Konsten att se

Fotografin föddes i mitten av 1800-talet och har sedan dess både fascinerat, förundrat och ibland förvillat oss. Redan från början handlade fotografin om äkthet och sanning. Men fotograferna utvecklade snabbt metoder för manipulation av verkligheten. Då byggdes bilder av kemi och silverkorn, idag rör vi oss med pixlar och datorer. Gemensamt för all fotografi oavsett epok eller genrer är det visuella språket och des...s förmåga att få oss att minnas, drömma och i viss mån stanna tid.

I en gemensam utställning presenterar sig 22 blivande reklamfotografer från Fotoskolan i Gamleby. Nu som då tar fotograferna med oss på en visuell resa.

Taking the stage

I got plenty of pics I just love from this shoot, however I could not use all of them for the actual project. It's a shame when they don't fit. This one is as good as finished, however there are still a few corrections I should do... Always aiming for perfection!

Forgot to mention it before, but much creds to the wonderful model Malin Landgren! She did an amazing job!

A different self

And yes, you have seen something similar before. It's another pic from the same shoot I did with myself. For those of you who did not see this or don't know me, it is me. But I'm wearing a wig and have strange make-up.

At the moment I feel kinda inspired. I have LOADS of inspiration and I'm just gonna go with it. Feels great!

It's also awesome that spring's coming, and the "dark" period is nearly over. Spring gives you plenty more opportunities. At least it feels like that.

The Phantom

This is what I've been working on for the last couple of days. Much creds to Malin Landgren, who was my fab model.

The idea is show a different picture of a phantom living at a theatre, entering the halls and saloons whenever there's no one around. At this moment, "the creature" feels free and a bit like an animal, before it withdraws. And at the same time it is a fashion shoot, of course.

Grand theater

Today, I had a hard time choosing what pics to use for my current project. This Wednesday I did a shoot at the grand theater in Linköping with my friend Malin. This is not at all close to what the pictures which I'm using look like.. The other ones are really different. Eventually I managed to make up my mind on which pics to use. You will see those later.
